A sculpture dedicated to sailors lost at sea, at the "Panellinio" area on Kalamata's beachfront. Built in January 2006 on the initiative of the Kalamata Nautical Club "O Poseidon", with contributions from the Metropolitan of Messinia Chrysostomos, the Deputy Minister of National Defense I. Lambropoulos, and Captain Vasilis Konstantakopoulos (source: the monument's commemorative plaque).
