Steamship (formerly the British HMS Peony, 1915). Departed Argostoli bound for Patras on 28 September 1943, carrying 840 Italian prisoners of war, and sank shortly after departure, likely after striking an Italian mine. Only 120 aboard survived. Lies at a depth of 26-29m. Part of the official list of 91 wrecks/aircraft approved in 2021 by Greece's Central Council of Modern Monuments (ΚΣΝΜ) for organized recreational diving.
